Setup the Bitwarden Password Manager

You may have a password manager installed already on iPhone or Mac, even if you don't know that you have one.

If you're using the Apple password manager, you may want to change the default to Bitwarden, at least for the weeks we're bringing up the system. When you get a chance, move over your credentials from Apple password manager into Bitwarden.

  1. Sign up for an account at Bitwarden
  2. Write down and memorize your master password (there is no recovery option for master password)
  3. Install the Chrome Extension or Firefox Extension and log in
  4. Install the mobile app from the iPhone App Store or Android Play Store and log in
  5. Set your phone or PC to use Bitwarden as the default password manager
